Imagine waking up to the first rays of sunshine shimmering through the trees, casting first light onto the damp lawn. You naturally open the doors to the terrace from your bedroom and soak in the silence with your first cup of coffee. Such a days calls for long hikes with a whole family through any of Skåne's most popular nature reserves. Bring a "fika" to rest in your favourite spot along the way and enjoy the view over the scenery. Return home for a glass of rosé (or Kivik's famous apple juice) and some evening sun in the pergola and finish off with a BBQ, supplied for by the local butcher in the valley. As the night falls you withdraw to the cosy living room, play games and perhaps even light a fire, knowing that tomorrow you can rejoice in all Österlen has to offer all over again.
